What can I do about competitors or previous clients who post NEGATIVE complaints or information about me that shows up on Google?

I have some previous clients who posted stuff on rip off report (www.ripoffreports.com) and on some other complaint boards.

Those complaints come up whenever you type in my business name on Google but are not true or accurate statements about the service I provided.

How can I get rid of these complaints?
