I am using a mirrored website, can this site be search engine optimized to the top page of search engines?

I have just launched this site a few weeks ago. I have set up a google adwords acct and I am not happy with the ppc results. Some people say I need a real website for seo, but others say it can be done. There is a interface to the site. The site is provided by Ticketplatform.com. The site jumbotickets.com uses the same platform as I and they are always in the top 20 of secondary ticket sellers. I hope you can help me succeed with this project. Thank you, Chris Shaw
